Waltz of Roses - Charlotte van Gemeren.

It took a while, but here it finally is! I finished this piece almost a half year ago, but I wanted it to be perfect before I would record it. Unfortunately, I'm still not satisfied with how it sounds now, but I think this is as close as I can get to how I want it.

Because of the fact that I always compose in quadruple time, I wanted to make something different and I decided to make a sort of waltz.
I had a very clear image in my head, of a beautiful rosary by a castle.
This Waltz is dedicated to the two people who were in the rosary and happened to fall in love with eachother. This is their dance, their celebration of love, before they both return to their lives, for they can't be with eachother.

Any reactions(I'm open for advices), likes & new subcribers are welcome =]
Enjoy!

  • You mean "rose garden" I take it? Yes, I can well imagine the two lovers... I wouldn't mind strolling with my loved one to the tune of your beautiful waltz. So romantic and wistful... I absolutely love it. Well done indeed!!!

  • @unpodimusica1 Rosary and rose garden have the same meaning I believe. But thank you very much for your lovely comment. I'm glad you can picture what I pictured =]

  • This is beautiful. I enjoyed it very much. Have you taken piano lessons or learned everything by yourself? This composition makes me just want to learn the piano.

  • Nice composition, Charlotte.Sentimental and expressive - and well played too.

  • This is nice.

  • This is art! Beautiful!

  • Very nice!

  • Ingenious work! More then words....

  • An elegant intricate work suggesting the artist to not only be prolific but clever too.

The pathos is subtextual with so much intellectuality...

    Bravo
