On Saturday 11-26-11 Elaray "Pam" Griggers Flournoy, Joanne Flournoy, and Matt Flournoy ventured to Blacksburg, South Carolina, to trace the Webber Ancestors of the Palmetto (" Big Mama") and Benjamin Franklin ("B. F." and "Big Papa") Reed Family of Smyrna, Georgia. Palmetto Reed and B.F. Reed had 10 children ( All were above average) and reared them in Smyrna, Georgia.

Joanne researched the Webber and Reed Families on the internet.

Mark Reed, our first cousin once removed, shared hand written documents showing branches of the Webber and Reed Family trees. Thanks Mark Reed.


Our Mother, Elaray "Pam" Griggers Flournoy of Marietta, Georgia, shared her early childhood memories of the Webber and Reed Families. She told stories of her life.
She loved her grandmother, Big Mama Reed.
