Yeah, a guy down the street from me does this as well. They said their electric bill goes up like 50 a month but the equipment is rediculous! I love to watch this though :)

From what I understand, it isn't the electricity that sets these people back, it's the equipment and lights. The more complicated it is, the more expensive it becomes. I hear the first guy to do this (The Trans Siberian Orchestra house) spent $10,000 on last years display. Regardless, I salute them all for their creativity.
