The Twins Lingual Frenectomy. (Tongue Tie)

Both Aiden and Caleb were born with ankyloglossia (tongue tie). We got there tongues clipped yesterday June 24th 2009. at Womack Hospital, Fort Bragg, NC! 2 Months Old.

If we did not get this done, they wouldnt be able to stick there tongues out or talk right. It also helps them swallow properly.

Since they never could stick their tongues out before, right after they stopped crying, they were wigglin' it all around! Haha!

Did you guys just do this procedure on the twins at home? Im tongue tied and Im 38, could I get it done just like this. I really want a frenectomy, is it done in adults. Thanks for posting this, its very interesting. Congratulations on your beautiful boys.

we did it at a hospital. they were born with tongue tie. they do it for all ages. they prefer to do it at a younger age because the pain isnt bad and you heal quick. when older it would be worse and bleed a lot. but it can be done! !

hi, I just want to ask what happen after the frenectomy? did they fed well? how many days is the healing of it? how is your twins now? my daughter was born with tongue-tie as well, and I'm afraid about frenectomy, I'm just worried what will happen after the surgery... thanks! :) this video is a big help by the way.
