Final of the XII Julián Arcas International Classical Guitar Competition
12th November 2011, Almería (Spain)
Soloist: Mircea-Stefan Gogoncea (second prize winner)
Conductor: Michael Thomas
Joaquín Rodrigo
Concierto de Aranjuez
Adagio (IInd movement)
My most sincere apologies to everyone for the low quality of the audio track! I realize that most of the guitar's articulation becomes indistinguishable from the rest of the music, due to the unintentional reverb-like qualities of the low quality microphone used during the recording. Sorry about that!
There is a better recording somewhere on the face of the Earth (a professional camera crew with great audio equipment and multiple cameras was present at the final), however I am, unfortunately, not in its possession!
So up until a better one becomes available, I'm afraid this will have to do. Many thanks to Celia and her father for taking up the gigantic effort of recording, editing and sending me all this! You rock!
Stay tuned, the last movement is underway!!
Don't forget to comment, rate, and share!

Your playing of this is inspired. I think I should call you Paco. Keep posting.
