A nice surprise to see this film selected by the NY Times for a video critique because it's among my favorites. I watched it years ago but have never forgotten it. My only grievance with the video are the English subtitles. Much of the French dialogue isn't translated and much of what is translated cuts off mid sentence. Otherwise, great film selection!
