@mikeyjames I know this was posted a year ago but you guys really arguing over nothing. And yes we do play jab jab in St. Lucia and yes with the shell too. Sounds the same in both island and every where else jab jab is played........You see we try so hard to segregate the islands when we have so so much in common. Bottom line no point to this argument

Mikeyjames: u are right about this riddim being from grenada. But remember that the other small islands have also been playing conch shell also ie: Dominica, Lucia, Martinique, Guadalupe, jab jab has also been associated with these islands that have the french influence, (djab djab is a french creole word for devil), I do see where you coming from but a lot of us islanders have a lot in common. It's ashame ppl argue about this alot but we as caribbean ppl need to get along w/ ea other better

the monkey riddim is even better than this one, these other islands hear soca artist in grenada with there own sound and they steal the sound but they dont know where the sound comes from and the history behind it.... take in the monkey riddim look for Inspector - Lazy Jab on here thats on the money riddim its better than this riddim, this riddim is ours to bunji heard the beat and jumped on it but its a Grenadian beat the monkey riddim has the shells blowing in the background to

@smc3r7 u should have known the beat was not from st lucia its a jab jab influenced riddim, made by crew Island Traffic Entertainment from grenada, do they even play jab jab in st lucia ? the shell you hear blowing comes from the jab jab crews in grenada, artists from grenada use it evey year, search for these song on here you'll hear the shell
