An often debated topic by those who don't think The Venus Project will work is the notion that we don't have the technology to pull this off. This video addresses this. If you want the full uncut version, let me know.

  • In three hours I can travel 155 miles through rural and interstate traffic systems through the Appalachian mountains with a rest stop included. It would be nice to travel to the beach and back over the weekend with a high speed train system and not be worn out from driving.

Artificial limbs and robotics will lead man into AI concepts like the Android, Universal Soldier, and The Terminator. Our futuristic science fiction themes already speak of secondary sets of "Moral Codes" for "The Machines."

  • @spiritech999 I also would love Maglev systems for transportation ease.

As for AI robots and such, we shouldn't let Hollywood drama dictate future potential. If we keep things as they are, with greed and stratification as prime, then yeah, we'll screw ourselves. If we switch over to the RBE and watch the value systems change, we'll do better by our innovations.

  • @TZMSocialEvolution Having worked in the Defense Industry as a Designer and Liaison Project Engineer, I can verify that Hollywood Drama does not dictate future potential. The military machine does.

Da Vinci's machinations and mechanical musings have been on the drawing boards for a long time. The Military Industrial Complex become The Military Market Nexus is already beyond SMART Bombs and STEALTH Technologies.

George Carlin says it best: "We like war. We are good at it! And, its our job..." .

  • @spiritech999 In this, I agree, which is why we need to cultivate a new way of thinking that uses tech in the right way, for all humanity.

  • @spiritech999 I think the truth is.... we like competition, but ....not when it comes to our livelihood, Reality is great until it gets in the way of fun!

  • Sometimes I feel I should leave the U.S. "Progress" only happens if money can be made from it. Only thanks to the government do we get a little funding for science.

  • @gibbsies As does eating healthy, exercising and keeping stress to a minimum.

  • @spiritech999 Well Isaac Asimov (not sure of spelling) Had the 3 laws of robotics

    1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.

    2. A robot must obey any orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.

    3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

  • We don't need artificial limbs to stop cancer. THC halts growth of tumors and even makes them destroy themselves.

  • Great videos.I 'm from Argentina and i'm sure we need them translated into spanish and portuguese, which I can do very easily. That will be great because I feel the people here needs to know more about this issues, sometimes I realize that we are thinking in terms of past, and we need to change our minds rapidly in order to think with "new" brains, devoted to real and actual facts.Thank you very much for your work, keep it going and count on me for further help and sharing as I'm doing right now.

  • @TZMSocialEvolution Good point. I will give it a go. Need to get a camera first I guess :)

  • @herpiethelovebug Make a video on it. I can't do this alone! :)

  • @TZMSocialEvolution They are building an automated mine in China right now. I'll get the info on it if you want it. One in Australia too.

  • Amazing.
