The music is by Arvo Part. I saw Joffrey perform this ballet this last season. Breathtakingly beautiful, and I was so not expecting this, that I failed to appreciate the virtuosity of the violinist, until the rest of the audience gave him a standing ovation. It's a ballet that should never be missed.
