Pokémon Sprite Tutorial- Splicing

The first tutorial video for revamping
Revamps:
1- Get 2 sprites of Pokémon in http://psypokes.com/, http://pokemonelite2000.com/ or http://www.dragonflycave.com/testing.htm
2- Make two copies of the sprites, in case you screw up
3- Zoom in 8x, and locate the sprites you are gonna work on
4- Choose the base. The base is the sprite you are gonna put the parts on. Start by recolouring the base with the other Pokémon's colour.
5- Remember to copy the sprite as you work on it, in case you do something wrong.
6- Don't forget to recolour some other parts, like the body for example.
7- Delete some extra parts, like the wings, tails, horns, etc.
8- Add some parts, just remember to be creative!
9- Sometimes all you have to do is scratch sprite. Like the black mark in Lucario's face.
10- Now select and copy the sprite, then paste it to the tiny canvas so that it fits neatly. Then save it as PNG and you're done!

But basically the same steps apply both for Paint and Photoshop, so both users can learn from the tutorial. Photoshop users even have a greater control over the selection and color replacement, so I say, if you can use Photoshop, go right ahead =P

You can try it yourself. First make sprite and save it as a PNG, then save it as a JPG. Compare them =P

And the one in the video is BOunc3 - Paradise on E, and I presume it's the original.
