Some of the negative comments here are quite startling. People here are not just historically challenged but politically challenged too. You don't seem to understand what socialism is and neither do you know of the socio-political and economical programs put in place by Hitler in Germany. Of course you shouldn't be talking about what you don't know, but ignorance has never stopped a left winger from speaking out about things...

What socialism wants: To take away the large diferences between poor and rich people. All people should be equal.

What nazism did: Killed people who were not deemed worthy and spent all it's money on war leaving the people starving back home.

The Nazis also privatized the economy, destroyed labor unions, sent gays to concentration camps, anti communist, anti social democrat etc.

So thats where conservatives have been getting their ideas from! :D
