Starling spins, steps up, gives a kiss and plays fetch. She is rewarded with a piece of apple each time I say yes (reward marker). • Of the ten or so starlings I have raised as pets, all have gotten me in the eye once and only once out of curiosity. Are the glasses a saftey precaution? Have you ever been pecked in the eye by a starling? If so, more than once?

  • No, I'm just cautious and don't like to visit doctors
