Kids, this is a real threat, right now. The environmental effects of a satellite detonation could realistically render an entire ORBIT unusable as the cloud of orbital debris begins to drift into the path of other satellites. We are beginning to see this with debris cloud from China's "test."

Want to ensure that space doesn't become an unusable warzone? Join the Air Force or find a job at the State Department. But don't act like this ad exaggerates the threat. If anything, it understates.

Hey assholes, China already demonstrated their capabilities to destroy our satellites when they tested an antisatellite weapon last year which obliterated an aging Chinese weather satellite. The threat is very real.
