  • I've studied Military History since the early 70's and in my opinion,Patton is one of the great tacticians of all time. He never used complex strategies like Rommel and Montgomery but relied on simpler, more aggressive tactics (like an American version of Heinz Guderian). I have yet to find any real tactical errors committed by Patton. Like the US weapons, he was very utilitarian. There's a certain beauty to simplicity of operation. Thanks for posting!!

  • Thanks for the speedy upload on this, the last epidode. I'm a WWII history buff and Patton was my kind of general. Thanks to people like you, I don't have to feed the cable pig to watch my TV shows. Please continue your work on History Channel uploads as they don't have many full episodes on their site.

  • Alfredo Guzzoni was Patton's arch enemy is Sicily but he was a puppet. Guzzoni was bait for Patton the real leader of Sicily was Nazi general Smiling Albert Kesselring. Smiling Albert wanted to bleed Patton and if Gazzoni was wiped out (and he was) Smiling Albert could have Panzers on the beach to kill Patton on the spot. Patton had an ace up his sleeve he knew never take the bait.

  • i like how they never mentioned that the US paras were shot to shit buy their own guns before landing. because the ships off the coast were edgy and were being bombed just a shot time before.

  • @ubeaste 1942-44.

  • Funny that they shared the footage from Battle 360 when they show the bombings.

  • time to drive Mussolini out of Sicily. Operation Husky has begun. It is Patton and Monty (Montgomery) VS Alfred Guzzoni and Smiling Albert Kesselring as Patton said "if I win I can't be stopped if I lose I will die" Patton is right they are out numbered 100 to 1 and Axis has the big guns on this island it is win or die for Patton.

  • A great book to read is The Patton Letters. There was also the Rommel Letters. Both are excellent reads and give you an insight to who these men were. These books are simply collections of things that they wrote in their diaries, letters, reports etc. It is very good because it gives the reader an insight to who the man is.

  • the Sudetenland was the border between Czechoslovakia and Germany and the people were known as sudeten Germans and was once part of Austria.

  • wa this guy at 4:48 sound like nicholas cage alot ahahh teacher of US history in national treasure

  • @ubeaste They helped England (supply) since de beginning.

  • @bfahren Grossdeutschland was not supposed to be that big. It was only supposed to include Sleswig- Holstein, Memel, Western Poland, the Sudetenland, Austria and Alsace-Lorraine. The rest were used to be Satellite and puppets.
