New Jaguar XKR V8 with Milltek Sport muffler fitted

Technicians from exhaust manufacturer Milltek Sport (www.millteksport.com) have re-worked the cat-back exhaust system to make it freer-flowing, which increases power and sharpens throttle response, but also to improve the sound without making it intrusive inside the car, as you can hear from the footage, it's very subtle when cruising but becomes agressive and puposeful under full acceleration.

Hi,

Not at all. The majority of the sound stays outside the car because the car has very good noise insulation. If you fold the roof down though, you can really hear it. It's something you have to experience to fully appreciate.

Hi, Good question. It depends on many different factors as to whether you get an increase in power but Milltek is a manufacturer of genuine performance products...if it doesn't make a difference we don't sell it. Many companies use two tricks with exhausts, enlarge the pipe size, or just sell the rear muffler. We develop and test our exhausts to find the optimum pipe diameter in combination with only offering the system from catalyst-back or the complete system rather than just the rear muffler.

Love the sound. I just bought xkr coupe this March. My god, its the best car with best sound that hit the road in a long time. Keep the great work Milltek.
