Clive Bruce hit the music scene in the 1970's with his hit "Sally Sunshine ". A fun song about a young girl taking care of her family.
Clive is the stepson of Virginia Lee, well known South African songstress.
One of South Africa's brightest artists , enjoy Clive with "Sally Sunshine.

  • That's so lovely Mum!! I still know the words off by heart and by the way you and Dad must have bottled the sunshine and given it to me and now it's my turn to pass it on to the girls!xx

  • My husband bought me this record April 1971 on the day our own Sally Sunshine

was born at home. It certainly made me cry that day and even now when I hear it it brings back wonderful memories. Incidentally, she has grew up into a lovely little girl and she has enriched our lives from that day!

  • so chuffed that this finally on... looked for it so many times, had almost given up. My mum use to sing it when we were weans!! managed to find all the others, but this one really special. very happy bunny, although i cried my eyes out when i first heard it again. in loving memory of my wee ma. XSadie BurnsX THANKYOU!

  • Still the best version of this song is by the UK girl group Sweet Rain, also from the 70's.This song is written by Geoff Stephens, most known for being the lead singer of The New Vaudeville Band, and co songwriter Les Reed.

  • And had the words changed to become an anthem for Leeds United when recorded by the club and reached number 10 in the U.K. charts in 1972 , now called Leeds United

  • have looked for this song for 30 yrs thx for posting it xx
