My (Mimi) AP Language teacher is giving outrageously wonderful extra credit for those who memorize and recite the Gettysburg Address, and many my peers were talking about ways that would make it easier to remember. So I volunteered singing the Gettysburg Address to the tune of a song that everyone recognizes. It turned out to be Katy Perry's "Firework", and I hope it benefits all of you APLanguagers. But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE excuse my several mistakes.

seven years ago
our fathers brought
forth on this continent,
a new nation,
conceived in Liberty,
and dedicated
to the proposition
that all men are

Now we are engaged in
a great civil war,
testing whether that
nation, or any nation

can long endure.

battle-field
