@XxGuineaXxPiggyXx >-> lol there's no such thing as an upgraded version like sims 3 can lose to its lesser version sims 2, the fact that sims 2 is better is because of the expansions, in 1 more year, sims 3 will be twice as better because of its expansions, and then it will lose to its upgraded version the sims 4 , its not "WE know" i think the only one who think like that is YOU, for now Sims 2 may stil be better, but in 1 more month you understand what i mean

I plan on getting both "pets" for sims 2 and "pet stories" someday....to see what, if any, differences there are besides one obviously being an add on for sims 2 and one being a stand alone game that was purposefully made so laptop owners can enjoy a sims game while traveling or at home on their laptop. Another huge difference is if you have sims 2 pets then you could get those pet related mods from modthesims and that opens up more pet options for you since without mods you couldn't have a fox

Sims 2 pets stories and sims life stories seem just like the regular expansion pack only the cast a way one seems worth getting

@DoogieGo directed story mode, lower system requirements, so it's easier to play on a laptop and the 'stories' games are a little more beginning simmer. They also include different items than are available in the regular sims.
