Butterfly Kisses For My Daughter's 15th Birthday

I created this video for my daughter's 15th birthday. I am a United States Marine and deployed to the Middle East, missing her 14th and 15th birthdays. This has always been "our song" and we were even featured on the jumbotron with her on my shoulders when she was small at a concert event where Bob Carlisle sang it live. Happy birthday, my beautiful baby girl and thank you for all the Butterfly Kisses of the past and those yet to come.
(Most of the "professional" photographs" are by Alison, a professional photographer and a longtime family friend. Her and my wife went to high school together and she took many of the professional shots you see in the video. Check out her work at:

"Butterfly Kisses" has been a part of my life as long as I can remember! I remember as a little girl putting my eyelash against my dads cheek and opening and closing my eye to "kiss" his cheek! When I first heard this song I knew it was going to be the song my father and I danced to when I got married! I now have 4 children and they know "butterfly kisses"! It's even my ringtone for when he calls me! This is a special song between father and daughter!! GREAT JOB!!!

Wow. wow wow. I love listening to this song and watching videos such as this one. Growing up without a father and seeing videos such as these shows me that there a real men out there. Your daughter is very lucky. Thanks for your service, but most of all, for being a wonderful father. The world needs more men like you.
