@spaceage... The light lasts around 2 1/2 hrs on full bright but on lowest power about 8 hours! And it will auto step down for you too but you can put it back to full bright if you wish. I think you would be hard pushed to have this run out on an average night ride.
Probably worth saying that I undid mine and properly sealed it from the elements too, very easy job!

Bought one of these and it is awesome for the money!!! Bought a solid bar mount for it too as the ring won't hold it steady enough for proper mountain biking ;-)
Love it!

How many hours is the MJ-872 running with 1 accu-pack ?
-
all the other bike light manufacturers are on borrowed time ;)

@gcavy1 I agree on all points. I couldn't help but think, what was that after it ended.

ooop forgot to post took geoman like a year to actually come through and replace the batteries he recalled...
Francios, I hate to be that guy, but compared to your other reviews this was pretty marginal. I'm not going to claim you did this on purpose, but you're bias away from MagicShine is hard to hide when your video is so short, doesn't mention your lux measurement, doesn't cover the mounting options, no captions showing specs, etc...
I'm not writing this to defend MagicShine and I value your opinions and every review, but you may want to consider redoing this one.
thanks!

so much false info man magic shine never recalled anything geoman the guy that spams your forum 24/7 recalled the lights he sold based on like 2 pics of fires that people claimed were started by MS lights and what light isnt made in china.... AND this light is only 145 not 185. most of the spammers on mtbr have some kind of agenda behind what they post -_-
