youre assuming that your potentially tactical emergency shoot out will be to your time fram standards and that the bad guys will wait while u get you stuff squared away, thats a typical civilian thought... usually when the s**t hit's the fan whether your at home or in combat.. it happens when u least think it will.. or when ur tired.. or when ur taking a dump... or busting a nut.. or when its cold.. or raining.. or extememly hot.. so just a thought.. but otherwise you got great optics anyway

@shootload1911 The idea is that its not going to be an emergency to have to shoot someone 200-300 yards away and if someone is coming from that distance I have time to put the magnifier on. Sitting in my house I can't see that far away anyway, so there is going to be no "need it on now" emergency that I'd be dealing with. So I figure I have a little time.

Hey thanks for the review, you did a really nice job, is the 3x not enough for the 100 yd? I was debating getting something that provides more magnification

@anyvideoanywhere Thanks for watching. I'd say that it does pretty well at 100 unless you want 1" groups in which case you'd need something with more power.

I like your video but that son of a bitch in the background is very very annoying... 3 inches to the left and 4 inches to the right, your low, shoot lower, go to the left .. your 5 inches too high... Jesus Christ the guy can't shoot worth a shit...

sweet set up, how much did the two sights cost individually? im sure they were costly because of the name " AIMPOINT" they are no joke they make good stuff and it's expensive from what iv'e seen... so im thinking you dropped about the cost of a new ar-15 for what you paid for both of those aim point's am i right?
