@plainolamerican Put yourself in their place. Do you really think they want to be in the US illegally with no rights and a poor standard of living because they will be exploited in their work too?

This is a way of donating money to Amnesty International I think, not of preventing people from dying by giving them socks!! As for their immigration.... If they had decent living conditions in Mexico, then they would not try to get into the US illegally, maybe the US should think about that before exploiting Mexico. How many people make money from bringing Mexicans into the US illegally too? Perhaps they should be stopped from their illegal activities too?

Compelling message, beautifully conceived and produced--leading up to . . . send socks??
THIS is the solution to the multinational corporate race to the bottom and the resulting forced migration worldwide of millions of innocent men, women and children, under intolerable conditions, at tremendous risk of life and limb? SOCKS?? Surely Amnesty International can do better, as can we all.

to be forced to leave your home and country
----
it's called deportation ... it's used to get rid of those who are illegally in our country.
They shouldn't be here illegally.
