An Air India Boeing 747-400 departs Heathrow Airports 27R (Northern Runway to those who don't know runway numbers) while an Air Canada (Star Alliance) Airbus A330-300 lines up behind blocking the Rotation point.

The Air Traffic Control is of Heathrow Ground, as I had problems establishing a departure frequency.
Anyway Enjoy.

  • should have had it tuned into TWR not GRD

  • As the discription says, I had problems/Interferance when I had Tower Frequency, so I used Heathrow Ground.

  • Cool video.

Bad timing from that Air Canada plane, but a good video all the same.

Did you find a gap in that annoying fence that surrounds the airport...?

  • Thanks. You can actually hear my friend swear as he had a telephoto lense and wanted a rotating shot. I found a gap in the 27R crash gate suprisingly a few police cars drove past staring at us and didnt move us on.
