Such a frustrating interview! They missed the point of interviewing the wedding guests, which would have been finding out what it was like in the room on the actual day, whether they were completely surprised or heard anything in advance, etc. Instead, the interviewers made the poor guests make guesses or report things they've heard in the media about Jill and Kevin. Truly awful!
@la2stl Very well put. I have watched this dance evolve over the last 1 1/2 years. You can now find versions of it in the Catholic faith, the Jewish faith and the Protestant faith. It has been featured on Australia's version of Dancing With the Stars. Jill and Kevin have appeared on National TV for interviews and to recreate the dance (which featured most of the wedding party) on the Today Show. I can only imagine how this has boggled Jill and Kevin's minds! God Bless them 'Forever'.
I think it became a sensation because it's so rare to see the perfect execution of such a gutsy move, in this case breaking so drastically from mainstream tradition. when you start watching, you're nervous for them because it would be so easy for the routine to come off as a lame experiment, but then you see that it really turns into a well done routine, so you're not just feeling entertained, but you're excited for the whole party for pulling off a brave stunt.
