I hate to admit it but I rather like the laidback seventies music going on in the background in this video. Anyone know what its called?

The one thing that always amazed me about this game at the time and even now is how well the characters on screen are animated. Look at the movement of the enemies that attack. That wasn't very common on the 2600. Most games on the 2600, the characters were stiff in their movements. This is a great timeless classic.

I'm so glad Activision brought this back to life in the Activision Hits Remixed for the Sony PSP.

I loved this game more than galaxian or Space Invaders.

I just found out that if you play with the game select switch, one of the variations lets you steer your shots , kinda neat!

I do remember this game, and the imagic games do have better graphics and sound. I thought that game was kind of derived from Pheonix, except there is no giant mother ship to destroy. A great game.

The Intellivision version definitely went the route of Phoenix, and resulted in a lawsuit, because of the final boss. Demon Attack on the 2600 has its own uniqueness, and is a great 2600 game. I put it in the same class as Megamania.

You guys should try and buy an Intellivision and buy its version of this classic. Intellivision's version is greater in graphics and gameplay (In my opinion..), it even has a large demon boss level.
