Kenny Ortega & Michael Jackson's "This is it" review and reaction

I got to see Michael Jackson's 'This is it' on opening day here in Sweden and through the whole thing it really felt like being at a concert, and I recognized and appreciated a lot of it from seeing MJ live on stage 12 years ago.

Note: i did say that one song on the soundtrack was taken from the film, but that was actually a demo, sadly.

I hope this film continues to stress Michael's incredible ambition to make this world a better place, and that those tender moments between himself and the dancers and crew which really portrays him as him, as this footage was never meant to be seen, lives on in people after seeing it.

I get goosebumps from listening to you telling about the goosebumps you got from watching those parts that reminded you of that concert 12 years ago... did I lose you?

I'm not sure whether I will go to this movie, I've never been much of a Jackson fan myself, which isn't that weird if you to my mind he was wacko Jacko... I basically can't remember another Michael... I'm intrigued now though... maybe I will go and see it, I kind of did enjoy his music.

I have every right to say what I feel about Joe jackson... SO LET ME SPEAK IT... That poor kid was really hurt by that man and DID NOT DESERVE the Constant beatings caused by that man.. He feared his father and that is a damn shame.. NO CHILD SHOULD EVER FEAR THEIIR PARENTS... Kids need Structure, but not by brutal force all the time...

I loved this film... It gave me a chance to see the man right there in front of me... Amazing man that did so much and got basterdized my his father and the media... MJ is awesome and the haters can go to hell as far as I am concerned. I await the DVD and BLu Ray with open arms... I saw it 6 times so far....

There are more beyond the baby balcony incidents and he named Prince Michael II Blanket cos it's like an expression of a blessing.. like "Blanket me with love". Within those negative stuff that the media portrayed him as, there are heaps and heaps of good stuff about this man. I sound a lil bit biased cos I've always been a fan eversince, but I do know a lot of non-mj fans who started liking the person he is after watching the movie and doin a lil research about the truth :)

I got my tickets for Saturday night, but I couldn't wait so I went today braving through the storm. It's worthy. I hope this movie will win an oscar or get some special recognition. There are many moments in this movie that will make you laugh out loud. There is nothing gloomy or ghoulish about this movie. Besides the thrills of seeing MJ as a musical genius at work, you will get to see him in his own elements from a different angle like never before. Don't wait for the dvd, see it now.
