@FlashFace Wish i was there, i saw him at hop farm the weekend before but couldnt make the tuesday as i wasnt in the country, i am now seriously considering flying out to italy or france just to see him again, who knows if I will see him again if i dont, and there are no live versions on youtube that i can find that do the way they are playing this song justice. With the rolling drums, 5/6 hits on the floor/bass rolling into each symbol crash....all these years on still making his songs better
The London Hammersmith Apollo show was incredible. Great arrangements. Temporary Thing, Senselessly Cruel, Waves of Fear, and The Bells. "You've read to many books, you've seen to many plays." Unforgettable.
Fine video thanks for posting. My highlight of the gig I think.A partially overlooked Lou classic. This a killer version.....what a band! Lou always has great bands behind him but at last.....one that can match Tony Smith's thunder.Awesome sax, well used.Do we know if the incredible Fernando is gone for good or just temporarily?....No pun intended.
Nobody rants better than Lou!
