You can't copyright gravity, it is an intangible force. You can copyright an invention though and you can also patent it. So that "oh so clever" quote is a bunch of BS. Apple is the innovator and MS is the copier. Look at the Zune. MS has never invented anything important. They bought DOS and built their empire on it. Gate's computer language for the Altaire was his last good work.

First of all apple does not work with open source that is Microsoft please when you do your video understand what you say because you did not know open cl is a graphic software and that what makes the any graphic look great the please Apple is the best company better than microsoft.

Now that steve jobs back Apple is going up and beating microsoft and Apple is gettting powerful by the minute.

With all do respect MS had nothing to do with OSX dev not even the kernel which stems from Carnegie Mellon University, with Mach and if you are referring to Richard Rashid, he left the Mach project to work for MS in the early 90's. The systems are too different to make such a claim. Moreover, OpenCL is OpenCL it is an open standard riding on technology very similar to CUDA, OpenGL is a visual API licensed by Kronos. take care.

@Haplotype0 let's be honest though, itunes is terrible... i mean, really, it has a terrible, horrible interface, always categorising my imported tracks.... KEEP IT HOW I WANT IT! i left the ipod and itunes web years ago, now have a zen (offers better audio quality btw) and mediamonkey... try opening your mind a little

@pagola What does it matter? Is there even another mp3 player? They're not even referred to as that anymore by most people. It's an iPod.  Apple won that war. The question is not even relevant. The revolution was not just the player but also the iTunes environment. The market share they've carved out within both the music player business and in the sale of music itself is nothing short of miraculous. Whatever iPods/iTunes do or don't do is irrelevant.

Microsoft involvement with Xerox is 100% legal & mostly clean (outside a few possible, unknown moral things) they paid for the product & coding on it, along with hiring some of the talent that was there, while Apple used the ideas from Xerox and knowledge from the employees that were once in Xerox, to build on and improve the project, without once giving credit compensation for it. It can be said apple did steal from Xerox, while doing them wrong in other ways as well.
