Yeah, Dark Ran gets more screentime than the REAL Ran this time and REALLY steals the show...I guess she won character mode last game, huh? XD

Also...is she in love with Mevious?!

...

...and if Mevious isn't in TSS3 I'm gonna punch someone. Mevious is awesome.

Since he more or less kept his army togheter with a goofy Iron grip, now that he is powerless everyone deserted him but Dark Ran. Dark Ran is helping Mevious in fullfiling his punishment, but secretly wished to see him back in all his stylish glory; and is for the sake of that wish that she yearns for the twinkle star. Oh, and yes, it's pretty much implied that she has a huge crash on Mevious-sama, I don't remember what happened in her ending.

In Dark Ran's ending she seemed to want a name or to be regarded as his daughter or something. I just remember Mevious naming off various female variations of his name (Meviko and Mevilina being two I remember).

I recognize Dark Ran's theme, so this game uses remixes of past games eh?

Mostly remixes and afew new songs. Most of the new songs suck except for the Sky stage theme, Love Again.

This is because the music is done by two guys: Wavelink Zeal and Plugin KZO. KZO did all the remixes and Love Again while Wavelink Zeal did the rest. He also did music in R-Type Final. Really he's better at atmospheric music, which just isn't TSS.

To me I dont like the 3D version.

I like the NeorageX and Saturn better.

3D version of an anime game usually sucks except for its design.

Well, Dark Ran's story goes more or less as follows : In the previous game Mevious almost destroyed the world and made the Queen his servant. Once he was defeated by the good guys he was at the Queen's mercy, she more or less agreed to leave him live with certain catchs; First, he can't use his Maou powers (attempting to do so will cause him pain, as seen in the vid) and the second his that he has to do 100 years of comunity service.
