Quady Plays Some Dark Souls Part 6 - Gwyn, Lord of Cinder

Obviously end game spoilers here, if you don't want to spoiler the finale for yourself I suggest skipping out on this one, but basically I just run through the final area of Dark Souls and talk a little bit about the final boss and what I think of him. This'll probably be the last Dark Souls video for a good while.

I'm in the car and doing this on my phone btw. I've decided the most fitting way ti fight Lord Gwyn then by channeling the spirit of Knight Soliare Firstborn of Gwyn Lord of Cinder I plan on fully upgrading his entire set to +15 normal allowing myself the Lightning Spear Miracle as my only form of magic.

@thedragonb0y Amazingly well-said, I think you pretty much embodied in that statement what I like about Gwyn as a character and Dark Soul's story in general. I feel like he really puts a different take on the concept of a final boss; it's hard to really say he's inherently evil or that you should kill him based off of who he is as a person, but it's a necessity to reach your own ends. I think that theme carries through both games, especially with Maiden Astraea in Demon's Souls.

It's believed that Soliare is Gwyn's son and was cast out of Anor Londo for some reason and lost his memory then Gwyneveire left Anor Londo also for unknown reasons and Gwyndolin is possibly crazy and was raised as a girl because of his affinity for Moon Magic or Sorcery.
