The language has NOTHING to do with it. Only an total superficial idiot would find fault with this consumate artist based upon the accent. The song is profound musically because it supercedes the usual banalities of modal writing. Also - in being a genius - anything is intersting - however - this more than interesting. The singer is great.

She doesn't need to have a conversation in German, she's singing... though I know other singers have more accurate accents they don't sound this good.
