@dermatlmann you can fly to any airport in the world in FSX, so the answer to your question is yes.
-
can u fly to salzburg using fsx? or are there only certain places you can fly to? i have never owned a flight simulator game, i'd like to buy fsx though.

@NSFThunderbird Mouse is quite accurate, but Joystick feels more realistic, so it would be more of a personal preference, Mouse and Joystick are equal in accuracy, but they feel different.

If you are doing a long haul flight I recommend you increase the simulation rate. (if you didn't that already)

Instead of having the autopilot hold the heading why don't you just put it on "Nav Hold?" That way, it will just follow the course you have planned instead of you having to constantly change your heading.

call me a noob if yuo want but im geting the gmae and i wanna know thnks

Joystick. It's way easier. Don't even try keyboard. It's too inaccurate. I've never tried mouse.

how come you just don't use autopilot now instead of having to constantly control? and if you can't, then you have every right to call me a noob.

I could activate it, of course, but I prefer to fly the plane manually during climbout, and activate the autopilot when I'm on course.

Yeah, it wasn't too much of nose up pitch.
It's normal to see an airliner climbing with 15 degrees of nose up pitch, we do this to get to our cruising altitude as quickly as possible.
If you just fly on free flight, fly how you like.
but when you're on a schedule, you want to get to your cruise altitude ASAP.
I usually takeoff and pitch up 20 Degrees until 1500AGL, Then engage A/P To hold 3500FPM all the way till FL100. then 3000FPM Till FL180 (Transition Altitude), then Cruise climb (1800FPM)

@CaptainJoeLewis
Thanks for the info.. I've never actually looked up the actual procedures for taxiing or climbout, so I just took my best guess at how it would actually be done. I'll be sure to do it right next time though.
