quick trick on the primer guys...no sanding involved when using epoxy primer. Been in the auto trade for years. if ya want to test this theory take a glass dish/drinking glass spray thin coat epoxy primer and let it dry. then try and scrape it off with a razor blade! Just passing on some time saver stuff to ya...TC

I totally removed the old paint and my case looks like bare metal. do I need to spray first coat of primer? thanx for your replyand another one thing i want to ask is if im painting my case metallic red wats the best primer color to use?

Very nice work. I have built cars for years, and your case painting technics are at the top of the charts. I am especially impressed with your ability to quickly and effectively discriminate the information required to be successful doing paint mods. Your advice and technical skills should be followed by anyone who if wanting to put a great finish on anything from a mod case, model car or a full on custom rod!...Well Done! I can't wait to see the next project you do.

@bigdzzplace just a couple layers of epoxy and then any paint on top, then clear layer?

You can just apply clearcoat and not wetsand if you wish. You don't have to wetsand before applying clearcoat if you don't want to.

damn i need something to practice this with...im planning on doing a mirror finish on the cosmos 1000, when i get it ..thanks for the tutorial..it looks easy, but i hope i can do this.
