  • Very nicely explained.

    Thanks

  • Not seeing thick and thin edges? Chances are you have the profiles edge style off.

Make sure this is toggled on:

  • So I found Google Sketchup 8 for Dummies on Google Books (gotta love Google) and it says that and edge will split another edge in Version 8 ... so I guess that answers that. Does not bother me, but it also says you can use groups and components to keep it separate.

I own the Dummies book for Sketchup 7, but I guess I have to upgrade now.

  • I'm using sketchup 8 and the line automatically splits as it crosses the edge of the face ... it makes a thin line with an end on the face and then the part that sticks past is thick. Has this feature changed from version 7 to version 8, maybe?

  • how can i change the lines to thick...

  • @TyroneKnet ooh,thank you! :)

  • Very good explanation
