  • Hey wondering if youve heard about the safety flaw on this model, ive seen it in other reviews, wondering if taurus will fix this at no charge ?just wondering if you had noticed?

  • @estraviado101 I havent noticed any flaws with this particular model. But they come with a lifetime warranty. Any flaws in particular i should look for?

  • @darque29 stick with new(post 2008) magazines direct from Taurus and you shouldn't have any problems.

  • Did you get a chance to fire this weapon yet? I've been thinking about picking this lil puppy up as my new CC weapon but I'm still on the fence. Any new thoughts since the vid?

  • The Colony is a fuckin joke. Sweet pistol, gotta love 10+1 in .45ACP

  • @cbr6864 sweet !!! thanks for the heads up, now i know for sure this one is next on the list =)

  • that gun is my daily carry its a great little gun it doesnt seem to like WWB HPs....the colony is a joke real life people would get evil real fast. just look at past events like LA riots, Katrina

  • @estraviado101 that was old generation this model is 3rd generation

  • @helinton74 I see, well i dont own this gun yet, i did my research and i came across those reviews, but i do always make sure to handle my firearms with safety in mind, thnks =)

  • @estraviado101 thats not a safety flaw, its a miss handle of the firearm, it will happen if you pull the trigger at same time you engage de safety lever. in order to prevent it you shoud keep the finger off the trigger before you activate the safety.

  • @darque29 well from what i saw on some other reviews, if there a cartridges left in the mag and u go to activate the safety, if there is a just a little bit of pressure on the trigger the safety will engage but on the wrong side of the pin leaving a live round in the chamber and clear to fire even with the safety engaged, and until that round is fired, thats when the safety will reset in the correct side and it will not fire anymore... dont know if that makes sense but u might want to look at it
