@yeasherelleduhhh i know what 2 do download a theme with hinges and pics and replace by changing your pics and sounds to the name of the files in theme and dont worry bout script i ran into the same problem

I did everything you did, but with the newer version of Audacity.
I renamed my sound files as open.mp3 and close.mp3 but they're still not working. Do you have any suggestions?

ok thanks great tut 5/5 but i do have one question, if my sidekick is on silent and i slide it open will the hinge sound come up? because i dont want to make noise in class my accident

is it ok if i just do the following:
1. get 2 sound effects and name them open.mp3 and close.mp3
2. go to the theme folder, go to the notebook icon
3 paste: sound system-hinge-open-sound open.mp3
sound system-hinge-close-sound close.mp3
4. copy and paste the 2 hinge.
5. remove usb

whenever i want to create a HINGE i did exactly what you said and the thing was that Lame is not working for me... my computer keeps telling me that it cannot find it in the system so NOW WHAT!
