Strange lights over llechryd in Cardigan west wales 08/08/09

we filmed these lights about 5 mins after the first lights appeared, we must have seen around 10-15 of these lights and they all looked like they were coming up from the ground over the boncath area, the first lot of lights were closer to us and were a lot brighter, we were stunned to see them, there was no sound and they seemed pinky orange in color, if anyone else saw these lights then please let me know, thank you

these strange lights were seen all over the uk on the 7th and 8th of August and there are a few good video up on you tube at the moment but if anyone is interested in what others have said then please contact me and i will forward the website, Thanks

the lights were much closer and much brighter but it took time to get my camera out and by then they seemed to have drifted away from the area.

Looks like those Chinese Lanterns to be honest - or maybe someone was pulling this, or a variation of, prank - /watch?v=GYOwnm1GiqY

Wasn't 1980 the year of the Belgian triangular lights?

@rayfox62 i heard about this from many different people in the aberporth area, the same thing happened in 1993 when a farmer spotted it hovering above him at around 2 in the morning, iv seen many different things in the sky myself over the last year.

@ryolite38 It would have been about 1980 when I saw the triangular one in the sky over towards Aberporth, just hovering for ages and each of the 3 corner lights were a different colour, I can't remember the colours now but I remember one was red, the other two green & blue maybe? I have had no doubt in my mind that it was a MOD test craft.

 There have been sightings ot triangular lights and reports of the Aurora spy plane around Ceredigion since the mid 90's, and it's well known that MOD top brass sees Cardigan Bay as an ideal testing ground for the latest in exotic technology.

I seen some similar about 3 years ago over Manchester, but many years ago when I lived in Penprarc, Cardigan I saw a triangle 3 light object hovering over the hill, I guess over the RAE strange stayed there ages atleast 1 hour but was early morning about 3am I fell asleep after that, each point of light was a different colour. Three points of light making a triangle but very close together. A local Taxi driver once told me about being chased from Mwnt by a silent flying ball of light????

I wish these triangular ufo would come out at daytime, then we would definetly know what they look like, in exact shape.
