Porter Mufflers on a 1948 Ford Flathead. www.portermufflers.com Nice sound, excellent quality. Made in the USA. The system we had to build was complex because of the air ride system on the car, but it has plenty of ground clearance and sounds great. Be sure to check out the greatest weekend Rockabilly and Hot Rod Show in the Midwest - www.symcoshakedown.com.

  • i ran cherry bombs on my 53...i wish i would have known about porters before i put them on, they sound really really good, great old school sound. Is it very loud in person?

  • cherry bombs you get what you pay for. They are junk in my honest opinion. These are not loud at all. Great sound. PERFECT sound actually.

  • I'm sorry, but I would not have shown that exhaust system. I'd never do that .

  • Okay Onlychevrolets, then you come to my place of business and show me how it could be run better. There were ABSOLUTELY no options unless you want to see the exhaust hanging low and hit it going up every driveway. Unless you can figure out how to fit a 2" pipe in a 1/2 inch hole. LOL

  • Are these the shortest Mufflers?

  • onlychevrolets, I don't know if you ever did any exhaust work, but trying to do that and pack it all under the car and clear everything is a real challange. I used to bend pipe and know first hand. Sometimes its not too pretty to be functional.
