The winners, the tears, and, of course, the free pizzas at UP's Bloggers Predict 2010 from Wellington, New Zealand. Bloggers from around New Zealand came up with their personal predictions for the coming year in technology. Maricio Freitas from Geekzone had plenty to say about the iPad killing off the Kindle as an ebook reader, and Android phones overcoming iPhone's market dominance. Miraz Jordan predicted the death of webpages to mobile apps. Phillip Fierlinger of Xero countered Mauricio by predicting
iPad's rise will be less than smooth given the lack of an obvious market demographic and hardware keyboard for the device. The winner was Brenda Wallace who predicted Open Government and location based services will allow us to track the activities of MPs.
