A day in the life of Spoon in its new location on Nicolson Street.
The premises was formerly occupied by the Chinese Buffet and, before that, Nicolson's Cafe. In the latter incarnation it was the Edinburgh cafe, along with the Elephant House where J K Rowling began writing the Harry Potter novels.
Wonderful what these people have done with the place: cozy and inviting !!!
This all despite the obvious temptation/pressure to milk out the fact that this is the main location, outside her (then) home, where Joan Rowling finished Harry Potter part 1 and turned here life around. The Elephant House despite their broadly advertised claims are much less so (by Rowlings own words).
I hope it can be Spoon cafe for many many years. Gonna visit soon. And thanks for this wonderful video!

What a cozy and lovely video. Well done! It makes me want to sit in the window and write letters to faraway friends.
