  • Christ, he looks FAT!!!

  • @DieudonneSeal My mistake. You weren't the person I was talking to about this issue. Yes indeed there were societies that didn't have kings. I was speaking in the context of Dark age Europe until the American Revolution.

  • @SamWiseGingy

We weren't having a conversation. Do you think I'm the same guy you were talking to months ago?

I don't know much about the status of the Divine Right of Kings at the time of the American Revolution but you think the American Revolution was the first to successfully challenge a monarchy?

I never defended Mark Driscoll's acknowledgement of the Divine Right of Kings.

Clearly you've mistaken me for somebody else then misread what I said so I'll forgive you.

  • @DieudonneSeal Anyone with a knowledge of the history of Western Civilization could read our conversation and see two things. 1. You don't/didn't know much about the status of the Divine Rights of Kings in the western world at the time of the American Revolution. 2. That your defense of Mark Driscoll's positive acknowledgement of the Divine right of kings makes Mark Driscoll sound rather foolish.

  • @SamWiseGingy

Wow..'Not successfully challenged until the American Revolution'? The rights of Kings was challenged pretty darn successfully by the Romans and Greeks. 'Divine Right' as in post Treaty of Westphalia 1648 was first challenged by the French. You know, the people who sent you guys a congratulatory statue after you got rid of the British Monarchy.

And you're lecturing others on their history? Amazing...

  • Thank God that it was the Bishop of London and not Mark Driscoll.

Talking about grace at the wedding would to none Christians be is like saying that you should believe in unicorns because one of them died for you. Gone to churches like his all my Christian life and frankly I;ve had enough. Ironically his church is called Mars Hill based on the biblical example of St Paul who noticed a statue to an unknown God and based a sermon on i it to the Greeks.

  • @SamWiseGingy I know all that. Are you still trying to teach your granny to suck eggs?

  • @irishxxkelt Studied for 38 years and yet you manged to preserve your ignorance. The royalty of Britain clamed and claimed to rule by divine right and Pope claims to hold the keys in a manner that no other believer can, to kingdom and be the rock on whom Christ builds the Church, and as such is considered to a fraud by Protestants since Luther. Those are the facts. How you feel about me and what you have studied or haven't studied has nothing to do with the facts of the manner.

  • @SamWiseGingy I know nothing about the subject about the Bible and papal authourity?? LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. I was brought up as a Catholic in Ireland until I accepted Jesus as my Saviour. I have been doing Biblical research on and off for 38 years!!!!! LOOOOOOOOL

  • @irishxxkelt Right, now you are getting it. The Pope claims to be Vicar of Christ, the physical representation of Christ on earth and central authority of the Church. Protestants believe that any person who pretends these titles is a fraud.

Again, Why do enter into conversations and advance opinions on subjects you know nothing about?
