@RamirRMA I think the countertenor voice does not sound the same as a woman's, even if these have masculine voices.

Counter-tenors and baritones: Can't fucking tell why people insist that the modal voice of all counter-tenors in the world is baritone. I, when younger, sang as soprano in falsetto voice doing a lot of "in quelle trine morbide" and other soprano arias, and I'm tenor! Is this a french way of classifying voices? I can even post some guys singing pretty well as tenors then singing as sopranos or mezzo sopranos. Please guys, say that you also know people who can do that!

@Guichotpresident Countertenor is ALL ABOUT singing in female pitch. I know sopranos with more feminine voice than this guy. But I say - who fucking cares? If his voice is girl and he is a guy, he can be an artist of his own liking. Art is not about gender, but about how good you can express things. I'm a tenor, and a bit frustrated to see that people is turning to countertenor and abandoning their modal voices, but I think it's still nice. Shame that real masculine voices are becoming rare. =(

I think Jose has a nice voice but I know a counter he could fill a big opera house with a big orchestra... his name is Samuel Jaime Santana - some little videos are here on youtube- and he made a master class with Michael Chance and Mirella Freni is his singing teacher... so he learned her technic.. and she is over 70 and still sings.. ! A lot of counters have a too small voice for a big opera house..

As far as the singer goes, counter tenors freak me out a little bit but this guy's got some skills. Make fun of him all you want but he's accomplished more by singing like a girl than I'm guessing you ever will accomplish with anything in your life. ;)
