their mental and emotional development is stunted. alot of them are victims of sexual abuse and are stuck being 4-6 years old in their head forevever

Mel is currently in St. Luke's hospital here in Kansas City. His pain is better and they did the skin grafting last Friday, so he is in the healing process. He is an amazing person. I have volunteered with the "Lost Boys" here in Kansas City for the past 7 years.

I am sorry to report that Mel was injured in an accident at work last night and is currently in the hospital. He has suffered the loss of his right arm. I know he would appreciate any and all words of encouragement at this time from his friends in St. Louis and around the country.
