Just a quick update to let you all know how my sister locks are coming along. So we know that there are mishaps from time to time. But luckily mines were able to be corrected. And this might help someone else. When i do decide to color again (next summer) maybe.....i will only color once a year and also have a professional who does coloring on locs.
Happy to see things worked out for you. Surprised that your original consultant said it was okay to color without banding. My consultant was so sick of me talking about coloring and kept telling me to wait a year, which reluctantly I did (aargh) and kept telling me to braid and band before coloring. I noticed after coloring that the texture has changed a little and I now have to use moisturizer once a month (everyones hair different). Nice update video, good luck with your sisterlocks.

Yes, a co-worker warned me of the possibility of my hair changing texture when coloring so I am also holding off. However, my gray's are trying to start a take over on my edges, I just cover with dark brown older (almost used up) mascara. Someone else suggested color spray. I haven't tried that one but I'm willing to do anything to cover this unruly gray. All the best to you sis!

Glad to hear that things are getting better after the color. It really makes a world of difference to have a great consultant! You can really see the progress of your sisterlocks!
