"it's not when they go, it's where they go" that's all you needed to know...the spirit goes into the house after the body dies.....there's no plot at all, 30% of the movie was about getting all the people in the house...the rest is about living in it...

the most horror movies do to me is disgust me, annoy me or make me laugh. they're never scary, but this movie scared the hell out of me, and not one annoying flashy and manipulative camera trick.

just pure thoughtful horror and a well crafted mystery.

If you like movies with a lot of barefoot babes, this movie is worth the watch. There is not a lot of fake looking gore scenes if that's what you're in to. They let facial expression, an eerie mood music backdrop and acting to create the suspense. How bizarre; isn't that what they use to do before all the special effects became popular. You have to watch it closely to really get the full effect. Watching it while you're at your computer would be a travesty.
