An American's Tribute to our Military

Please take a few minutes aside from your day to watch this and remember those who are fighting for us. No matter what side of the aisle you sit, these people are only there for one reason...to defend our freedom and help bring freedom to others, nothing else. They will gain nothing from battle but the pride of knowing they fought for all of us....please remember that.

I just saw this in an old post on an ADD Forums thread, and had to find the original on YouTube. Thank you *so* much. It is so easy to forget, as for many of us this is not a part of our daily lives, just a distant background hum. I've bookmarked this page so as to be able to view it again and again, and pass it on to others.

I too get choked up every time I see that photo of the little boy, trying to be so strong like his dad had been...

I agree with you completely. It's extremely important that people don't forget that day and what happened, otherwise it's destined to happen again. These brave souls are giving all they have to protect our way of life. Thanks again for watching and more importantly, thanks for getting the message.

Thanks Poz...even though I wrote the song, made the video, and have seen it 100 times, I still get choked up watching it....especially the shot at 3:52 of the little boy receiving the flag at his father's Marine funeral...wow. We owe everything we have to our veterans and we can't ever forget that.

Absolutely beautiful. It makes me proud to be an American. We sometimes forget about these people and it's a shame. Thanks for reminding us.

(by the way, that song is fantastic. It really touches the soul. It says on the video that is an original. Is there some way I could buy that one too?)
