7th track of their first album, simply called "Danzig" Released in 1988 on Def American (now called American Recordings). Produced by Rick Rubin.
James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett of Metallica are singing the backup-vocals of this song. They did on "Twist Of Cain", too. They're not credited, though, due to their deal with Elektra Records at the time.

I agree Danzig is washed up. But so is Metallica. why do you think they were on the same stage together. It was the tour of the washouts. At least Danzig did not do embarrassing shit like that reality show with a shrink analyzing them. That is not rock & roll.

Obviously, you didn't see Danzig performing with Metallica a while back..where he couldn't even remember the words to his own songs, and had to rely on Hetfield to save his ass. Danzig hasn't had talent for a VERY VERY long time, and it's kinda sad that you haven't realized that. Oh well, not everyone can let go of the past, i suppose.

nope, the last album i bought was Lulu and Beyonf Magnetic. Lulu was shit but beyond magnetic was awesome....all their albums including garage inc, st anger, load and reload and death magnetic were great. i guess its just a matter of perspective...

yeah, now that I hear it, I don't know how I missed it. Maybe because of the lo-fi cassette copies I first heard Danzig on! ;) Saw those videos, pretty amusing.

Yeah, it's not completely obvious, but once you know it, it's really clear. Also on Twist of Cain. There's some funny live performances with M and D of Die My Darling/Last Caress/Green Hell which are worth watching :)
