  • Also, to understand what will happen to YHWH's redeemed during the tribulation period, Abba purposely left us a model in the story of the Exodus from Egypt.

The people of Israel did not leave until all the plagues of YHWH's wrath were finished. However, they suffered none of YHWH's wrath poured out on the wicked. He PERSONALLY protected them. YHWH makes this point, when they were instructed to apply the blood of the lamb to their doorposts.

  • Amen!

  • I grew up being taught the Scriptures all my life. I became a believer in 1976, have been involved in Messianic Judaism for 20 years and have led a congregation for the last 10 of those years. In all that time I have never heard anyone make a comparison between Gid'on's story and the 'end times' battle of Har-Megiddo.

You have done a wonderful job of sharing the 'shadow', as you call it. I look forward to the next installment.

Do I have your permission to preach this to our people?

  • Yes, it is our Fathers' so if you feel led by Him to preach it, by all means do so!

  • Thanks for this video but what does the "wheat in the winepress mean"?

Shouldn't grapes be in a winepress and not wheat?

Are we the wheat for the Kingdom of God?

    God Bless

  • laurieannek,

I'm so glad you noticed the wheat in the winepress. Yes, believers are compared to good seed that grows into wheat by Yeshua. Normally grapes would be in a wine-press. Blessings!

  • @boltingpuppies Grapes come from the vine. Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. The branches bear the grapes as their fruit. Those grapes are pressed to make wine, which is understanding or teaching. Threshing the wheat to separate the chaff is basically the same thing as pressing the grapes. The winepress in Revelation is the same thing. This wine is poured out and is as wrath toward those who are remaining in error.

  • Very good study sister!

    Thanks for posting.

  • Happy Hanukkah and I pray you will continue to be blessed with His wisdom and love to share His Torah with us!

  • amazing insight sister. I am indeed edified. Thank you.

  • What a remarkable comparison you picked up on!...God is using you, friend. :)
