A short video regarding the nature of free will and God's love.
The volume may be a little off so adjust it to your comfort.

The script follows here:

So you're saying that God doesn't want to force us to love him because such an act would be almost identical to rape. Although rape is is sexual in nature, and I'll assume that to 'know god' doesn't mean to fuck him, let's just let it go for the sake of the argument.

So God gives us a choice so that his love doesn't seem forced.
And that choice is
A) Love Him
B) Suffer His Wrath

This is obviously an abusive relationship. And really Venom, it goes to show how sick God is.
"Love me or I'll hurt you" doesn't really allow free-will.
Freewill would be "Love me or don't, no strings attached"

But God doesn't take this stance does he?
No, he'd rather maim and punish anyone who doesn't love him or agree with him.

So I address the following question to anyone with a heart and an intelligent mind:

If someone threatens to hurt you if you don't love them, does that person deserve an ounce of respect?

  • Many things that describe heaven and hell are metaphors ( harps....).. as for the 2nd thing. I'm sorry, but that just makes no sense.

    1. Just because you cannot prove a miracle doesn't mean they haven't happened.

2.They HAVE happened, the universe had a beginning. So something outside the universe (something supernatural) must have cause it)

    3. God COULD poof human beings into existence now.

    4. Your conclusion does not follow from your premises, make more of an argument dim wit

  • Calling anything in the bible a metaphor is a subject interpretation.

    1. That's true. But my point is that no one has ever proven that a miracle occurred. And that ties into my argument against "God can do anything that's possible".

    2. Something outside of our universe is not necessarily supernatural.

    3. My point was that it cannot be proven, and therefore the argument that god can do anything that's possible doesn't really mean anything.

    4. Input = Output. Poofing up things is illogical.

  • the laughing man nice

  • Well argued, sir.

  • I think what's important in this argument for "love me and don't disobey me, or else..." is that an omniscient god would already know the outcome of the "free will" he's granted to adam and eve. That makes it even sickening because you have a creator who puts forth rules for his creation, knowing very well that it will fail to abide by them and then punish them. This is not a loving god, but one with an ant hill and a magnifying glass at his disposal.

  • this guy will make a lot of money with his bullshit. I am sure his father does the same.

  • azureflameelk, i'm on your side here, venomfangx is really ignorant

  • It's not letting me post the comment, so I'll message you regarding this.

  • But yes satan is in hell with you. Hell is just separation from God, not separation from satan. PLEASE READ what i say and stop attacking strawman

  • Idiot. they choose hell when they dont want to be with God. and God grants their wishes. Your brain is on constant drugs if you can't grasp this concept.
