for me all superman movies and are awsome.christopher reeve is the best superman.

Sorry, but they did NOT throw away a winning formula. They added to it, and quite frankly this is how it goes.

Superman: Perfect
Superman II: Perfect
Superman III: Perfect
Superman IV: Hmm. . . Not so good.

Why can't everyone just accept that?

My first reaction watching this was it was a fan-made parody trailer of a nonexistent film. Ooops.

Many people didn't appreciate this film in that moment but now Superman 3 is better than spiderman 2, 3, fantastic 4, hellboy 2, etc...

OK, did it ever cross anybody's mind that the Superman & Spider-Man movies haf som'n in common?
In the 1st movies, it was bout their origin, u no, the beginning; the 2nd was both giving up being heroes and haf normal lives; & the 3rd had both heroes turn evil and flirt with other women.
The 4th Superman movie might give some idea of wat Spider-Man 4 will be about.

shit I thought I was the only one who nitcied that. And I spotted when I first saw spiderman 1. I'll do ya one better. Dark knight adheres to this formula as well. Bruce wayne didn't want to be batman anymore.

True, & he did go up against a villain that he can barely beat and the villain (Joker) was sort of like Batman just like the 3 villains in Superman II were like Superman with the powers.
